Welcome to sweeter than honey

Hi! I'm Natali Fernandez, a proud graduate of the International Culinary Center in NYC, class of 2014. As the youngest member of my family, I wasn’t initially allowed in the kitchen, but that never stopped me from sneaking in while my grandmother or mother was cooking or baking. I would always manage to tiptoe in and sneak out some goodies.

I discovered my passion for baking at a very early age, and it continued to grow through my adolescent and adult years, creating sweet memories along the way. I was fortunate to attend a trade and vocational high school that offered a culinary arts program. During my senior year, I focused on pastries and fell absolutely in love with them. I knew I had to dive deeper into the pastry world, so I convinced my parents to visit the International Culinary Center in Soho, where I enrolled in their fall classes.

Life took an unexpected turn, and I temporarily stepped away from baking. However, my passion never waned; it simply waited for the right moment to rise again. That's how Sweeter Than Honey was born.
